Pre-Need

Many people ask us if they are the only ones considering the idea of prearranging and prepaying a funeral. In truth there are many people who arrange for funerals in advance. This can be evidenced by those who remember mom or dad saying "When I die", unfortunately many times the family forgets exactly what is was the mom or dad really meant. We can help families put all of this in writing, that way your family has a record of the type of service that someone wants to be remembered with.

Prearranging can be as simple as telling the funeral director what you want the funeral service to consist of, and giving vital information about, and select cemetery or mausoleum space with our guidance.
Protection of Assets

To further protect one's assets for the future a funeral can be paid for in advance, allowing families to accomplish two things. First, this guarantees that the remaining family will not have to pay funeral costs in the future, unless at the time of death it is decided by the family to upgrade or change any of the selections.

During a pre-arrangement the cost of a funeral is determined based on the service, merchandise, cemetery or crematory charges, and any other applicable charges from a church or member clergy. By placing the money in an interest bearing trust account, at a bank or through an insurance company, the money earns interest to pay increased costs associated with the passing of time.

In most instances there is plenty of interest to pay for the costs of a funeral at the time of need. On some occasions the interest falls short of the rate of inflation; if this happens your family does not pay for the difference because we have already guaranteed to provide you and your family with the funeral selected. Second, a prepaid funeral is one of the spend downs allowed by the government when someone is applying for Medicaid payments for a nursing home. We are here to serve our community to the best of our ability, if ever we can answer questions we want to help.
Reminder

From the initial call from a family informing us of the need for our services, we feel the smallest details make the biggest differences in the services. A comfortable home-like facility, filing of government papers, limousines, and most of all a competent caring staff are all factors in the equation. Each family's needs are different and special.

That's why we are dedicated to creating services of remembrance that are most appropriate for each family. We listen with sensitivity, answer all questions, and respect your choices. Then, we take care of the details. Whatever your situation, we are here to help before, during, and after the funeral.
